Thank you for asking this question here!
Where are you hosting from?
I'm also tagging a few hosts from to see if they have any advice for you: @Marie8425, @Till-and-Jutta0, @Karen114, @Lorina14 and @Oksana127.

Hi Elisa! Our property is located at South Padre Island, TX
That is actually a good question. We all choose differently, because you should approach with the mind set of who is using and what mental expectation they might have during their stay. Read everyone's answers though, I still get great idea from what another Hos is doing.
My Guests are longer stays. Generally males staying with me because a work commitment.
I get off fairly easy, I purchase the jumbo bottles at Costco and I just put those in my shared and private bathrooms. I keep them clean and presentable, I don't switch bottles every turnover, but for me turnovers are usually at least 30 days in between and many 60 or 90 so it is just normal replacement of use.
Thank you!
@Samba-Property-Management0 We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a mounted dispenser inside the showers by Better Living. We also provide liquid handsoap in all baths. If there is room I provide little canisters with Q tips, make up swipes or cotton balls and of course a can of bathroom spray under the sink 😁..
I someitmes buy bulk shampoo and conditioner in gallons to refill or often times just Garnier Nutrisse shampoo and conditioner. I use Caress Body Wash as well.
Hi there! We provide the following: liquid body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, cotton swabs, cotton rounds, nail manicure set (clippers, tweezers, cuticle scissors, cuticle pusher), spray deodorant, mouthwash, lint rollers, feminine napkins and tampons, first aid kit, hair dryer, eyeglasses cleaner, make up remover wipes (critical for women who may use your hand towel to take off their make up and ruin it), small disposable 3oz cups, hair ties, ear plugs, essential oil bathroom spray, face wash, dish soap, dish drying mat, dish sponge (for washing some dishes in the large bathroom sink), stain remover, bathroom cleaning products.
It somehow grew over the years when I thought I can provide that… or that may be helpful.
Brands we use: Burt’s bees (facial wash, lotion, make up wipes), EO body products (body wash, shampoo, conditioner), seventh generation (hand soap, cleaners), Ecos (hand soap), Moon Valley organics (hand soap), oopsie poopsie (essential oil spray), Puracy stain remover, truly free (direct mail order natural effective products - stain stick, laundry detergent, soap, all purpose or bathroom cleaners ).
Thank you so much! Very helpful! Im gonna look i to all of these! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question
We also have a hair dryer and in one of our units that doesn’t have a large bathroom counter space, we have a plastic foldable thing that goes over the bathroom sink (with a hole for the faucet so you could still use it) to give women more space to put their makeup or toiletries when getting ready. Sometimes we have had new unused disposable razors left by other guests. Our closet has a collapsable clothes dryer for anyone who hand washes items or needs to air dry items that you can’t go into the dryer.
The stain remover helps when one accidentally stains something. Most guests will pull the sheets and roll it up to hide the stains (we don’t ask them to strip the beds, put on a load of laundry or take out the trash). But I have had guests use the Puracy stain spray or even hydrogen peroxide to get some blood out of sheets (which surprisingly took the stain out and didn’t lighten the colored bamboo sheets).
A backlit nightlight is helpful for the bathroom as well so if one has to pee in the middle of the night they don’t get blinded by the overhead light. We got some on Amazon that while a little pricier than normal, go on when it gets dark but stays on for a couple of minutes then turns off, is motion sensing and is backlit. I am very happy with them!
We furnish liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We also have a hair dryer in each bathroom.
We like to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible, so we provide essential bathroom amenities in every apartment. Each guest receives high-quality shampoo and conditioner (suitable for all hair types), liquid soap, and a hair dryer. Naturally, toilet paper is always stocked.
We purchase our shampoo and conditioner from professional hospitality suppliers — the same kind hotels use — to ensure a consistent, pleasant experience. We believe that even small details like these can make a big difference in how welcome and cared for our guests feel.
