Approval of conditions at reservation

Prior to booking, I need to give important information about heating, WiFi, recycling and use of communal spaces.

The guest has to agree to these conditions prior to booking.

There is no place on the website for me to give this information, nor for the guest to approve the conditions.

@Beate121 The only way to do this is put in your house rules that people must provide you with whatever you want or their stay will not be approved or will be cancelled if Instant Book is on.

Thanks Mike and Jane,

OK, but where do I put this information?

I have a tick box for heating, but when I click on "Other information", nothing opens. Same for Wi Fi, same for Recycling, same for communal spaces. There just isn't a quick'n simple way to give information, e.g. our strict rules on putting rubbish in the right places,  tick a box to say you are agreed  with the conditions, if not you will be liable to supplementary charges.

Each time I have an enquiry, often people with certain expectations ( that it's like a hotel, for example) , it takes a lot of explaining.

If not, how do I get in touch with Airbnb to get something done on the website?

Thanks again

Hello David, @Beate121 maybe include in your messages prior to booking that they agree to the Terms and Conditions and House Rules in your listing.

That is one of the easiest ways of addressing these matters.

Look under Amenities for the likes of WIFI - make sure you change access codes for this  with each Guest - maybe use their phone number so you know who has used it in case of any violations that may arise.

If you use related Keywords in the Searchbox you can also find further discussions on similar topics.

All the best

Why don't you put them in your house rules as @Mike-And-Jane0  suggested that's what this section is for ie all food waste must be put in th food bin and not in general rubbish

all the ways of contacting Airbnb are in the Contact Airbnb post toward the top of the forum you are posting in.

@Helen3 The contact airbnb post has been replaced a guide that is no more useful than the Airbnb help on it's website!
