Our $95. cleaning fee doesn’t cover our costs.

We have  a two floor, three bedroom, three bath HOME.

@Eric-And-Rachel0 Owners, unless they are very stupid, do not 'eat' any of the cleaning fee. If it is not called out as a specific cleaning fee it is incorporated in the nightly rate. This is no different then to heating and other costs that a host incurs.

We use our cleaning fee to just cover the laundry costs - The rest of the cleaning costs are paid by the guest in the nightly rate.

Winter demand, being low, impacts the equation. We will need to better study area listings to compare cleaning fees for homes vs apts.
