Yes, both our listings are child friendly. The house has a bed for children/baby, a feeder and many toys & books (Greek & French). The pool is protected by a fence and the village is quiet and safe (not many cars pass by the house) with many interesting walks to do with a toodler (see local animals ext.).
Hola! Nuestro alojamiento no es apto para peques o bebés, es muy pequeño para ofrecer opciones extra para dormir o incluso accesorios y juguetes 😔
Hi! Our accommodation is not suitable for toddlers or babies, it is too small to offer extra sleeping options or even accessories and toys. **Translation added by Community Manager
Γεια Paula, ναι, το σπίτι μας που είναι καταχωρημένο στην Airbnb είναι πολύ φιλικό προς τα παιδιά .😊
Hi Paula, yes our home listed on Airbnb is very child friendly. **Translation added by Community Manager
I absolutely consider my listing to be child-friendly, and I've taken several steps to make families with children feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Here are some of the amenities and safety measures I've put in place:
Safety First: Safety is my top priority. I've installed safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs to prevent accidents. I've also childproofed electrical outlets and sharp corners.
Baby Gear: To make packing easier for parents, I provide essential baby gear like a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub. This way, families can travel lighter and have everything they need on-site.
Kid-Friendly Entertainment: I've set up a dedicated play area with age-appropriate toys, books, and games. There's also a TV with kid-friendly channels and a DVD player with a selection of children's movies.
Outdoor Space: My property has a safe and secure outdoor space where kids can run and play. I've added a swing set and a small pool with a fence around it for added safety.
Kitchen Amenities: In the kitchen, I have child-friendly dishes, utensils, and cups. I also provide a blender for making baby food and a bottle warmer.
Childproofing Supplies: I keep a stash of childproofing supplies, such as cabinet locks and outlet covers, in case parents need to make additional adjustments based on their child's specific needs.
Local Recommendations: I provide a list of family-friendly activities and attractions in the area, along with recommendations for kid-friendly restaurants.
Flexible Check-In/Check-Out: I offer flexible check-in and check-out times to accommodate families with varying schedules.
Emergency Contact Information: I provide a list of emergency contacts and nearby medical facilities, just in case.
Regular Cleaning and Sanitization: I have a rigorous cleaning schedule in place, paying extra attention to disinfecting high-touch surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for children.
I've received positive feedback from many families who have stayed at my listing, and I'm always open to suggestions for improvement. Creating a welcoming space for families has been a rewarding experience, and I look forward to continuing to make their stays as enjoyable and worry-free as possible.
Yes, our home listed on Airbnb is child friendly. Everyone is welcome.
We have a high chair, full size crib, baby monitor so parents can enjoy their time but also have piece of mind that their child is safe, pack and play, toddler utensils, travel/beach pack and play, and adding a bassinet in October.
Hi @Mina1167 , I must say your listing looks fantastic 😍
How do you promote all the child amenities in your listing? Do you include this information in the description, or do you share these details when you receive a new inquiry?
Yes, I have child friendly listings on Airbnb. Everyone is welcome at my homes. The Fair Housing Act is important, in my opinion, for all Hosts to be aware of and incorporate in their home policies offered on Airbnb. Happy Hosting!! Patti
Hello @Patti120 thank you so much for sharing your experience in our community. How often do you receive families with children?
We have children and young adults about 50% of the time. Sometimes we have 2-4 generations stay. It's fun to see everyone enjoying their vacations together.
@Paula , our listing is not set up as child friendly accommodation. And due to the waterfall feature we have in the backyard, our home insurance policy (which also covers our STR) prohibits children. Besides I have enough on my hands dealing with my husband who can behave like a child (not picking up after himself, making a mess and then blaming the dog, not listening and/or paying attention…etc…).
Yes - we have toys, games and twin beds. We have a fenced in backyard, safe and quiet neighborhood. We also have locks going to the basement. However, we do not have a pack and play at this time.
Hello @Teresa2045, Thank you so much for sharing this. How often do you receive families with children? It's great to hear that you have toys for the kids. 😊
Inside we have blocks, toys, a high chair and pack n play.
The house is on the edge of a 120 farm with chickens, horses, and two donkey tgat kids love visiting with their parents.
This sounds like a dream place for kids, @Tom-and-Julie1 😊. Have you been adding more amenities for children over time, or have you offered all of this since the beginning?
we offered from the beginning. The toys are in a nice container on a shelf in a closet. Those with kids always find them. The pack n play is in another closet. The high chair is in the garage. Everything for kids is easy to get. The farm and animals, the nature and sense of possibility is simply there.
We are definitely child friendly, with loads of wonderful gardens for them to run around, completely walled off and a jungle gym in the bottom garden.
Hi everyone, I have a Graco My View 4-in-1 Bassinet that accommodates from newborn to toddler. I also have plastic dishes (in addition to glass dishes. We have a swing set in the back yard. The home has a pool and I keep child sized life jackets on the patio next to the posted pool rules. I have board games, children’s books, playing cards and hdmi cables in case they need it to connect their game console to the TV (smart tv in each room and living room)
