I’m really excited to hear about the lovely things you do to make your guests feel right at home. So, I’m super curious, do you offer any delicious food and drink to your guests? 

Whether it's a charming welcome basket filled with local treats, a delightful breakfast spread, or a thoughtfully curated selection of beverages, your special touches can make such a difference in their experience. I once stayed in a yurt in Derbyshire that was on a farm, and we were provided with a a very tasty bottled cows milk to go with my morning coffee. Delicious!

Hey Rebecce w moim apartamencie nie mam możliwości serwowania posiłków ale zawsze czeka na powitanie gości w saszetkach herbata, kawa, śmietanka do kawy i cukier. Mimo, że nie ma tego w ofercie to zawsze pozostawiam coś słodkiego, batonik lub cukierki.

Gościom udostępniam też przyprawy takie jak sól, pieprz, papryka i olej. 

Dopiero zaczynam jako gospodarz ale też bardzo dużo podróżuje i posiadam już wiedzę czego mi brakowało w wynajmowanych przez siebie pokojach, dlatego staram się, aby te potrzeby zaspokoić swoim gościom. Wszystkich pozdrawiam i będę uważnie korzystać z tego forum aby nabrać jeszcze większej wiedzy od strony gospodarza.

I offer a space in my house and the kitchen is shared with me...  So I keep one cupboard specifically for my guests stocked with tea, coffee, cocoa, sugar & non-perishable creamers, along with instant oatmeal choices for breakfast.  There is a grocery store close by and I offer plenty of storage space in the fridge and pantry for longer-stay guests who are inclined to do "real" cooking.

That sounds like a lovely setup you have for your guests. It's great that you provide a stocked cupboard and space for cooking. I bet your guests really appreciate those thoughtful touches!

Have you had any experiences with guests who used the kitchen to whip up something special? It's always interesting to hear what people create when they have the chance to cook in a new place!

We offer tea and coffee and bottled water and sports drinks (because of our elevation in New Mexico is is important for people not used to it to stay hydrated) - small snacks like granola bars, bag of trail mix and hard candy. If someone lets us know they are celebrating something we will leave cupcakes from a local bakery for them. They always love the surprise!

We are at 5,312 feet of elevation - it can give a lot of people headaches or make them feel tired.

We supply all the staples.  Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, spices, refrigerator condiments and a welcome basket with a variety of chips, pretzels & popcorn.

I have spices and unexpired condiments in the fridge. Outside of those things and maybe some popcorn or snacks left in the welcome basket I don’t offer any other food or drink.
