Do you provide TV in Bedrooms?

Hello Everyone!  Do you provide TV in bedrooms?  Why or Whynot?  Do you provide Wifi and charging stations?  Thank you for replies and likes!  Eileen

I do have a TV in the bedroom and Wifi for free. I think these type of details attract more people. For example, the wifi helps them to spend less for their data, and the TV it's just easier, especially if they are staying for a week or more. It's more convenient to watch TV before bed instead of watching it in the living room and after that move to bed.

@Eileen462 No we don't have TV'S in the bedrooms. We only have a medium size in the lounge room.

Our guests come for the beach, water activities and the viewing the night skies, Booderee National Park for walking and surfing.

So our guests are not interested with T V's. They have the internet and communication.

@Laurelle3   Hi from California Laurelle!  Its nice to see what others in the world are doing in their AIRBNB.  Thank You for your reply!  Eileen

@Sam6468   Hello Sam, I agree with you.  I stayed at a Hotel this weekend spent 140. a night at the Marriott.  The bed was so comfortable the shower was amazing I had TV Netflix and Wifi and a mini kitchen with an apartment size refrigerator and a dishwasher.  Clean as it gets  it was a really nice stay.  I know I have to match that to get that kind of rate.  Smiles,  Eileen

Yes and no depending on the room sizes!

Hey Eileen! I've got 2 properties (city and mountain) both with smart (Roku) TVs in all the rooms, wifi (fastest possible), and also have special charging extension cords next to each bed (with charging cables provided as long as they don't "walk away").

I think most people (in the US?) expect and/or enjoy a TV away from the living room especially if they are seeking alone time from others who may be staying or they may like to fall asleep with the TV on.

It's little things like TVs and good wifi that can increase perceived value and help with keeping your ratings high.

TVs are relatively inexpensive these days (if you're old like me, it is rather shocking how inexpensive they are).  Roku's have a cool function called "guest mode."  When the TV is turned on, it asks the guest to input their checkout date and tells the guest they will be automatically logged out of their apps on that date.  Then, guests can confidently log in to their own subscriptions knowing they don't have to remember to logout.

I used to supply app subscriptions (Netflix, Prime, etc.), but found so many guests were logging in with their own subscriptions that I didn't bother providing the subscriptions anymore. Plus, guests would contact me saying they forgot to logout of their Netflix account, for example, and asked if I would log them out (I couldn't; I'm not local).  So the Roku "guest mode" is a cool solution.

Hope this helps! Kelly
