Do you provide any amenities for dogs (i.e. Kennels, bedding, bowls)

We're mostly just looking to see if it makes sense for us to offer guests a kennel. Guessing beds may be a no-no due to hygiene/practicality of cleaning them/actual protection they provide?

We figure lugging a kennel along may be too much for some guests, and are considering it, as well as possibly other amenities.

Kennels are good but many pet owners have not trained their dogs to be kennel trained.  So not always utilized and you need a good size one to accommodate even German Shepherds or a lab.  

I supply beds to encourage no bed sharing. lol  Costco we have gotten nice ones not two expensive.  Depending on usage we replace for me yearly.

Dog Bowls I encourage.  I use metal bowls easier to maintain

My living room has 2 couches, one has a nice Amazon pet blanket  to just wash.

As a pet owner, in your pictures, show me  easy open door in the morning backyard morning bathroom run.

Good question! Here's what we provide:

- medium sized dog bed - our local pet store had a version made from a fabric that is wipeable and sturdy and thus seemed easier to manage in terms of keeping clean. So far that has worked out. 

- dog poop bags

- two balls for catch

- a treat bag (with treats) that is re-sealable

- stainless steel water & food bowl

- a plastic mat for the water & food bowl

- two old 'dog' towels for wiping a dog down if need, wiping muddy paws

- a large plastic container to put a dog food bag in, to keep guests from just leaving the opened dog food bag in our garage or on a porch where it would attract rodents - we have a lot of field mice here.

- we just added a rolled up small rug to go under the feeding area as we noticed that dog scratches were happening to our wood floors in the areas that folks were feeding dogs.

And while we don't have a kennel on our list that can be a nice option as you mentioned. As noted the size of the kennel matters so if you have a weight or size limit for your listing you could let that be your guide or just get a really large size. They fold/break down so storage is minimized in most cases.

@Michael9588  In addition to the items listed by @Greystone0 , I keep a number of old king size sheets in a bag in a closet.  The sheets and the bag are clearly marked as DOG SHEETS in LARGE letters in the hopes that people will drape these sheets over the furnishings.  I can ask that people not allow their pets on the furniture or in the beds, but "fur babies" are allowed to do what they want.  The sheets help.
