I have my land in Varanasi and want to develop in such a way that I can host it on Airbnb.
Does anyone serve breakfast at your Airbnb? If so, please share items and pricing. Thanks in advance.
@Rhonda440 No, but we do offer breakfast snacks and provide a variety of Kerig coffees.
Are you looking to start hosting @Rhonda440 . Airbnb is primarily self catering .
some hosts provide a starter gift box with breakfast items
some onsite hosts served a cooked breakfast or cold buffet/continental breakfast .
we are an international community so prices and items served vary
either cost up what you want to serve and/or ask on your local host group on FB.
No, because I am not living with the guest
Hi @Rhonda440,
I see you have a listing -with a GORGEOUS lake view-, do you offer breakfast there already and want to change it up, or are you considering to start?
A few of our other hosts shared their perspective on the question, but if you tell us a bit more about your plans we might be able to weigh in further. 🙂
Looking forward to hearing from you !
Emilie

We provide self-catering accommodation, so no-one serves breakfast in my cottage except the guests themselves.
And I don't have an "Airbnb" - I have a cottage, which I have operated since long before Airbnb appeared to control us and dictate what we do. I prefer and encourage direct bookings. These are much less stressful and much more rewarding. Guests are more independent and more appreciative, and have no riciculous expectations or hidden agendas.
We provide a self-made starter breakfast for the first morning. This includes the basics, coffee and tea(always available), 2 pastries, 4 eggs, granola, and 2 yogurts. We cater to couples. As guests, we appreciate something to start the morning with. Being new to a city, the small breakfast helps from being hangry.
Hi @Juan63!
What a great menu to offer to guests! I'm sure they really appreciate it after a long travel. Do you offer any special snacks in dates like Christmas, Valentines... ?🍿
Kind regards,
Alex
Hi there,
That's an interesting idea. The property I have is 2 hours away from where I live so the logistics don't work. In addition, I think it wouldn't be cost effective for the rates being offered in the area. I would be curious how it turns out for you.
Best of luck,
Hello @Rhonda440
Yes, I do serve breakfast, and it's included in the room charges. Here's what I offer: omelet, cheese omelet, French toast, egg dessert, paratha (a South Asian flatbread fried in oil), and cardamom tea.
I've also asked in a group for suggestions on what complementary offerings I should provide for long-stay guests. If you have any ideas or recommendations, I'd love to hear them!
Thanks
