Can someone help me how to win some bookings since I have done all necessary requirements, yet since August no bookings

We have just had a guest leave.
He left his dog in the cottage unattended against our house rules , which was very distressed
He left an hour and a quarter after check out time, our cleaner was waiting to go in as we had another
guest arriving the same day,
There were muddy paw prints all over the white bed linen
There were black marks all over the white towels
The daughter had used fake tan , which stained two towels the white bed linen and the toilet seat.
How to I review them, can I claim anything back from them?
All the linen has been washed and then soaked and washed twice more, some going in for a third time
So sad they could do this!

@Rachel2695 possibly not. If there is any suggestion you are breaking the review rules then they could have the review removed. Also petty things (not that you had many of them) might make you look petty to future guests if they go looking at your reviews (unlikely). Perhaps keep it short and sweet saying something positive as well such as 'Friendly guests who communicated well. However between the guests and their dog they managed to damage sheets, towels and a toilet seat'
@Rachel2695 My suggestion is to review them as soon as possible (and as honestly as possible). Then hope they review you so that all reviews are locked in before the 14 day limit for claims expires.
Should I put in all the things they did?

Thank you thats really helpful.
Try keeping the towels in bleach and cold water for 1-2 days. It does wonders for me. And yes, take pictures and request for them to pay for a new bedsheet set.
Sorry to hear this but you must be honest because other hosts wouldn't want the same thing to happen to them. Would you host them again? No
Reasons: guests left their dog alone and it became distressed; fake tan and white linen are not a good match; a house rule forbidding dogs on the bed saves guests having to pay to replace the linen.
