@Gretchen195 After I get it really clean, I apply Rain-X. It's for cars, but it really helps on glass showers!

HI @Gretchen195 ,

so here's what I've been using lately:

- bucket of hot soapy water - mix is dish-soap (like a small squirt of dawn) and hydrogen peroxide. Scrub brush if needed

- dry/wipe down with a cloth for stainless steel cleaning. This seems to do a great job of no streaks/water marks and nice and shiny.

- if the glass has tough debris on it, we also use a 'scouring stick' - these work really well on glass

hope that provides some good ideas!

Thank you @Greystone0 ! So far the glass is in good shape, but I want to keep it that way, thank you for the tip!

Hi @Elise43 😊

This is so interesting.

How did you find out that a car product could work well on a glass shower?

Another tip, have a squeegee window scraper in the bathroom as some people use them in their own homes to and will wipe down the walls and glass as part of their routine.

I had a fabulous guest who kindly gifted me one as they used them, and others who appreciated having a home to stay, cleaned up after their showers as that's how they were raised.

Maybe get a hook to attach it somewhere where it's seen...

Another product that's great is Simonize cleaning product also designed for cars and general cleaning.

I'm not sure if Glint window cleaner is still available.

Chemico in a pink tub is economical and also works wonders.

Bars Bugs is good too!

Do you have those products where you live?

If not, perhaps our countries should be exchanging ideas and commence trade with them.

We have a similar product to Rain X too.

@Gretchen195 and others

Do you have a product called Silvo in your country?

It's generally for cleaning silver however does an incredible job also on cleaning Glass shower doors and any tap fittings - they polish up very well.

Another fabulous economical way is to use Scrunched up newspaper and hot water and then wipe with a dry scrunched up newspaper - there a very good reason why we have such materials to read, and reuse.

In New Zealand we also have a Dishwashing liquid called Sunlight soap, it also works wonders not only on cleaning dishes but a thousand and 1 other uses.

There's previous discussions on cleaning of you look up using related keywords in the search box.

All the best from across the other side of the ocean.
