Hi everyone 👋
Peak season varies for every host, due to location, climate or even seasonal events. I can imagine that every host prepares for this time slightly differently.
So I wondered, how do you get your listing ready for peak season?
Do you do a bit of a reset before things pick up, deeper cleans, stock checking or making any home improvements?
I’d love to know what works for you to make peak season more manageable, and when your peak seasons typically start.
Looking forward to reading your replies! 😀
I only refresh photos when i have re-arranged something or added new furniture, changed colour scheme or bought a new major applicance etc.
Thank you Rebecca for recognizing us. Our home located in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, India . Tirupathi is a pilgrimage town where Lord Venkateshwara swamy Temple is located. Usually we don't have particular peak season. All days of year devotees come to Tirupati. Daily 60k to 70k devotees visit Tirumala temple.
We focus on cleanliness and make the fresh home feeling. Our 2bhk apartment flat is independent and guests will have privacy and spacious homely atmosphere. I also stay with my family in the separate side flat, we take care of every need of the guests. We are always available to guests. We make sure the guests are happy and comfortable.
As we prepare for peak season, our main focus is maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness between every guest. We follow a thorough cleaning process that includes using oxy powder detergent to remove stains from all towels and linens, ensuring everything is fresh and guest-ready.
Bathrooms are fully sanitized using bleach, soap, and all-purpose cleaners, and we wash and disinfect all reachable surfaces between stays. Floors are swept and mopped, carpets are vacuumed, and rugs are regularly washed.
In the kitchen, we clean and sanitize all surfaces using bleach, soap, and appropriate cleaners, including countertops, drawers, and cupboards, and all utensils are washed between guests.
We also dust all furniture and surfaces throughout the home to ensure everything is spotless. Couches are checked after every stay, and if there are any stains, they are cleaned promptly.
Overall, we take a detailed and consistent approach to cleaning and sanitizing every area to ensure a comfortable and hygienic experience, especially during busy periods.
We like to do a deep clean at the start of season, Easter time for us. This ensures our holiday home is refreshed and ready for guests and helps make those between guests cleans much faster.
