How to eliminate drain odour

Good day, my listing is on the top floor apartment building. There is a bad ordour coming from the kitchen and bathroom drains. I have used the DIY treatments but the solutions do not last.

@Thembeka1 There must be a fundamental problem with the traps on your sink, bath, shower or toilets. I suspect that there is an issue with the trap syphoning so all the water disappears and you can then smell the drains. Has any work been done of the traps in the kitchen and bathroom recently? To check if I am right empty the sink/shower/bath and then use a jug to refill the traps.

1—Try pouring boiling water down the drain, not too much,  not too hot, and adding a few drops of undiluted peppermint essential oil.
