This is not due to any lack of cleanliness, but entirely a natural characteristic of Cappadocia’s volcanic stone structure 🌿

On cave and stone wall surfaces, some businesses choose chemical stone sealants or transparent coatings. However, we have consciously chosen not to use these methods ❌
Because:

• They prevent the stone from breathing 🪨

• They make the cave texture artificial 🏚️

• They reduce the sense of natural living 🌿

• Most importantly, they destroy the authentic spirit of Cappadocia 🤍

For this reason, our structure is preserved in its 100% natural, unprocessed rock and stone form ✨
Yes, this means that from time to time very small natural shedding may occur; however, this is simply “the nature of authenticity” 🌋🪨

In our philosophy, nature and cultural heritage preservation are just as important as comfort 🤍

Yes, most of our guests truly enjoy the natural “living stone” atmosphere of our cave house 🪨🏡✨ Many of them say that the authentic texture, handmade restoration details :hammer_and_wrench:️🧱, and the feeling of staying inside real Cappadocian stone make the experience unforgettable 🌙🕯️💫

Of course, some guests initially expect a more polished or modern hotel style 🏨 because of standard tourism habits. However, once they arrive and experience the peaceful atmosphere 🌿☀️, the natural stone climate ❄️🔥, the historical character 🏺📜, and the local village lifestyle 🫓🍵🐓, they usually appreciate the authenticity even more 🤍✨
