Long term guest cleaning

Hi all, 

 

I'm wondering if it is an expectation for a guest staying for 3 weeks to want a complimentary linen refresh and cleaning of the property mid way through their stay?  

If so, do you charge extra for this or add-on as a complimentary offering?

In fact, I will be glad to send the Cleaner complimentary and We have a chance to see How are the things.  I get friendly and I also visit them if it is OK With them.

@Kelly2668   When I had long term guests, cleaning was contracted for every two weeks or mid-rental at the time of booking.  This would be housekeeping arriving at a specific time and date to clean the bathroom(s), exchange the linens in the bedroom(s) and bathroom(s), and a quick dust and vacuum - max of an hour to hour and a half of the housekeeper's time.  This was NOT the full changeover cleaning (3-4 hours) done at the departure of the guests.  

 

Anyone who wished to book for more than two weeks was informed that there would be this mid-rental cleaning as a part of their long-term contract, and the additional cost would be mutually agreed to, added to the booking as a fee and sent as a payment request prior to guest arrival.  

 

Mid-rental cleaning ensured that the property was being respected.  Housekeeping was never complimentary as it was done by a person who was not me.
