Hello @The-Cocoon-Baneras0

So nice to see a fellow host from the same city! I’m Nandini from Varanasi too 😊

I checked your listing — you're doing well for a start, but here are a few tips to improve and boost your chances of getting bookings:

  • Some of your photos are repeated two or three times — try uploading only one of each, and make sure the photos are bright and show the space clearly

  • Your listing description is quite short — guests like to read about the full experience, such as nearby places, what facilities you offer, check-in time, etc.

  • You could also change your listing name to something unique or eye-catching — it helps grab attention when guests are scrolling.

  • To boost your listing:
✔ Keep prices slightly lower in the beginning to attract first few guests.
    ✔ Turn on instant booking.
    ✔ Keep calendar updated daily.
✔ Add clear photos of all the amenities (soap, hand wash, bed, washroom, entrance, etc.)

  • I would also suggest you to add a promotion which would help your listing to boost and show up.

Also, if you ever need any help, you can add me as a co-host to your profile — I’d be happy to support you!

Don’t worry — getting bookings can take a little time in the beginning.

Just keep updating and improving, and you’ll start seeing results soon! 😊

All the best,
Nandini

You do need to review.

The cover shots the first listing shows a toilet.  That is not good.

The Title is Bed and Breakfast, but you don't mention food anywhere and that usually means Host interaction Guests want to see a completed profile and a picture.

For them as well as you install smoke alarms in this type of rental  You can even buy plug in ones inexpensive

If no kitchen that is your choice but add something to the description restaurants close coffee shop around corner.  They don't know the neighborhood.

Tweak your descriptions.  Target a potential market close to employers that have contract employees, near a hospital and guest is a patient relative, close to a college so parents of sport team members, lots of possible markets and maybe more than 1 change your ad though to focus why a great find for each market location transportation public or all private those types of things

Thanks for you suggestion @Marie8425 will Update that now

@The-Cocoon-Baneras0 , here’s the truth in simple words:

Your apartment looks empty. It’s missing warmth, emotion, and personality.

Right now, your listing feels more like a showroom than a cozy, welcoming home. That’s why even with views, no one is booking. Here’s what’s missing — and how to fix it without huge investments:

🔥 What Your Listing Needs to Convert

1. Add Emotion Through Decor

Throw pillows on the sofa/bed with warm colors (mustard, beige, terracotta).

A cozy throw blanket at the end of the bed or over the sofa.

Wall art — framed posters, canvas prints, even a simple gallery wall. Right now, your walls are empty and cold.

Indoor plants — real or good-quality fake. Even just one large plant in the corner adds life.

Books, candles, cups — place them in scenes. E.g., an open book and a cup of tea on the table → “Come relax here” feeling.

Warm lighting — floor or table lamps with warm yellow light, not cold ceiling lights.

2. Style Your Photos Like a Lifestyle Magazine

Don’t just show a clean room — tell a story:

A tray with a coffee mug + croissant on the bed.

Wine glasses with a bottle on the kitchen table.

Towel rolled with a flower in the bathroom.

Curtains open, natural daylight flooding in.

Right now your photos are like: “Here is a bed. Here is a table.”
But they should say:
🛌 “This is where you’ll rest after a day exploring the city.”
🍷 “Here’s where you’ll enjoy wine with your partner.”

3. Add Captions to Your Photos

People swipe through fast. Help them imagine the stay:

“Comfortable queen-size bed with soft linen”

“Spacious kitchen, perfect for long stays”

“Balcony to enjoy your morning coffee”

4. Shoot Better Photos (even with your phone!)

Always use natural light (open curtains, shoot during daytime).

Turn off all overhead lights to avoid cold, harsh shadows.

Clean your lens and shoot from corner angles to make rooms feel bigger.

Add close-up lifestyle shots — these give emotional depth.

Final Thoughts

Your apartment is clean and neutral, which is a good base. But guests book places that feel like a dream. Right now yours feels more like a student rental.

Decor = Emotion = Bookings.
