Is there space where a host should list that they have a
NoiseAware system, I know it doesn't record but for privacy concerns, I feel like I should have it listed somewhere
- Listing page # Things your guests should know
- Potential of noise # click the button and describe the detail
Hope you can solve it out.
Happy Hosting
@Dale711 It's definitely not appropriate to check Potential for noise... this device measures noise, it doesn't generate it. As it makes pretty clear in the description, the Potential for noise checkbox is for use if the Airbnb is in a noisy location and the stay could be disrupted by noise.
@Phillip261 I would specify in the rules and the listing description and under Other things to note. There is no dedicated spot to include this info as there is for security cameras, but I agree that guests should know about it, and hopefully it will be a deterrant for those looking to party.
Philip mentioned, "NoiseAware system, I know it doesn't record but for privacy concerns......... "
He didn't point to a " party " noise either, no specific detail of the noise.
Besides the listing house rules clearly describe " No party "
As you are an experienced Superhost, you knew the majority of guest wouldn't read the house rules?
As a matter of fact, "Technically possible "
@Dale711 I have no idea what you're getting at... but this device doesn't generate noise. It's for detecting guest noise to ensure that they're not having a party or making too much noise. That's the purpose of it.
@Dale711 Who is this @Quentin163 person who's liking all of your posts? Facinating stuff... the plot thickens.
I have been wondering about myself? as you have received 14 thumbs up from me till present, should I stop liking you? As a matter of fact, someone is your BIG Superfan with 162 👍
Ways to go!
By the ways, we can continue in a private message, do respect Phillip post and focus on his subject.
I'll certainly happy to assist you. Treasure!
