We are debating renting our home or listing it on Airbnb. But I’m afraid it won’t do good. How much interest is in SE OK. About an hour from broken bow/hochatown

@Misty159 But what if it does do good? You will not know until you try.  

My advice would be to search Airbnb for homes like yours in your immediate area. Look at their properties and calendars.  Are they booked?  How far out are they booked?  What are they charging?  Is the revenue in line with what you were thinking or hoping?

Prior to that though you must make sure your neighborhood is short term friendly.  Check with your municiplaity first before you put all the leg work in.

Also check social media also.  We moved from Honolulu to Buckeye.  Even my husband thought I was crazy doing Airbnb again. lol  Know what helped me identify my market, group pages from contract workers at a nearby Nuclear Plant..  Haha  You may not be your target market so look around then decide.
