Same person asking questions about the property.

Have a person incurring about my property that seems very suspicious. On the first round of questions send me a way of connecting with her by sending me the number. I blocked her and now she’s back asking silly questions. Any experience on what can go wrong?

If you blocked her, she shouldn't be able to contact you. You will need to report her again @Carlos6352

good question.

Here's some thoughts:

- you can report the profile (and each new profile)

- we just had an example where what appeared to be a husband then wife reach out with the same nonsense questions. This hasn't happened before. I ended up just blocking the dates that they were interested in to avoid having a booking (we have instant book enabled) with anyone from this group. We have our listing available thru several methods so we removed one method, in this case. 

- they were just too weird to risk having further issues with from my perspective and this platform isn't the easiest to deal with weird, disrespectful guests.

I have had several people do something similar, wanting to contact outside of the platform.  It is an automatic for me to block them when they do. Not sure what these folks are trying to do, but I believe it is a scam all the way.  If it is legitimate, I guess I just miss out on the booking.  I am not going to deal with that kind of headache.  So far, none of the odd requests has reported or inquired to the platform as to why they are blocked.  That just tells me it is a game, and when you block them, the game is over.

I had a scammer message me last week and reported them via the message stream - you have to give a reason for wanting to report them.  I got a pop up window under their last message telling me that this guest would no longer be able to message me.  Did you get the same?  Where did you report them, via their profile or via messages?  This may make a difference I suppose
