Hi, I'm creating a new listing and I'm trying to add a common space to the sleeping arrangements. In the listing, under the sleeping arrangements section, I add a "sofa bed" to the "common space" section. However, when I preview my listing, I only see the 2 bedrooms. The common space doesn't show. Has anyone run into this problem before? Is it an issue just with preview mode?
Also, if I add a third bedroom, and change the bed type to "sofa bed," the preview of the listing shows a "queen bed" for the third bedroom. I'm not sure why it is not saving the sofa bed setting for the third bedroom. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Actually had not noticed this until you posted @Sophia428, and now I see the same issue in my listing, where I have a library with a futon that is an additional sleeping space but doesn't show up anymore. I'm going to drill down a little and see what's going on, but I suspect it's one of the million changes to the platform that have been rolled out in advance of the May 24th announcement.
@Sophia428 I've figured it out. Under edit "rooms and spaces," remove that third bedroom you added and edit your living room. There you'll be given the option to add a sleeping arrangement to it. Now it shows up as a "common space" under "sleeping arrangements." My futon was previously in the "office," but I removed office and added a second living room and was given the option to add a sleeping arrangement. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/5371021?preview_for_ml=true&source_impression_id=p3_1621694085_YK3StVR3...
Hi @Ann72 , do I have to publish the listing first and then go back and edit it? I haven't published my listing yet. But I do not see where to edit the living room spaces. While the listing is in progress, I seem to just be able to edit the bedroom information. Do you know?
I don't know, @Sophia428, but since you can probably edit it within minutes of publishing it, why don't you put it aside for now and edit it in later?
Thank you! I will publish it and then edit it.
@Sophia428 your observation would be correct, from a technical standpoint. Your space is meta-tagged with "not live" so it does not have the same edit options as a live listing!
At least that's how i would program it...
so yes, you can just make your changes without pressing edit.
Thanks! I will give that a try.
Yes...something is wrong with the platform. Check your listings.
My calendar is closed, but 1 new amenity appeared somehow- a "Backyard". I don't have a backyard (my place is on the fourth floor). The building has no backyard also.
I just posted about this @Dimitar27! https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosting/How-to-encourage-new-participants/m-p/1451551#M344807
Not only annoying, but dangerous. Guest who thought I had air conditioning will probably give me black marks for lying.
I am having a similar issue. I have a sofa bed in my living room - but it is also listing a sofa bed in "common space" which doesn't exist.
Ay idea how to remove "common space" - it doesn't exist in my room descriptions so I can't see how to remove?
All the best
