Smart lock for international guests?

We use August lock and it no longer works with phone numbers outside of the US. What smart lock do you use in the US,  to welcome international guests?

When you say "no longer works" with phone numbers outside of the US - do you mean that you require guests to download the August app, and then you can no longer share access with them inside the August app because their phone numbers aren't North American?

If that was how it was done, I think the solution is to add a keypad and send access codes to the guests (instead of having them access the app).
