Hello dear host colleagues!
I have already found out that there are no regulations about the temperature at which you should wash guest bed linen in the machine. What have your experiences been? Are there any legal regulations for hosts in your country? At what temperature do you wash the bed linen?

Hello @Guido-and-Roman0 , I'm in Portugal and we don't have any legal requirements regarding this question.
Personally, I wash the bed linens at 60°C.
Kind regards.
Elena.

Why would there regulations for the temperature you wash at for STRs @Guido-and-Roman0
Just wash at whatever settings you use at home.
That's exactly what I've been doing for four years now. I always washed everything at 40°. Until today when a neighbor told me that it's compulsory in the catering industry to wash bed linen for guests at 60° for hygiene reasons. But I have to admit that this neighbor often makes up things like this. She worked in a hotel 40 years ago. Of course the world kept on turning in the meantime.
