Hello everyone,
Deciding what to leave for your travellers is quite an art. Apart from things like toilet paper, sheets (if you offer them), soap, salt, tea/coffee, and other such products that I've seen you mention on CC, I don't think I've seen anyone discuss what they leave on the bedside table.
Do you leave certain things for your travellers in the bedside table? If so, what do you leave for them?
Tell us all about it below! 😊
Have a great day,
Quincy

A touch table lamp, a small clock radio with alarm, and a small box of tissues.
i may add small trinket for jewellery.
I have noticed the question says "in your bedside table" and evryone has answered "on".
IN one of the bedside tables top drawer, I have (list taken from my room guide on the mantlepiece:
I also have the hairdryer and a travel iron in another drawer.
-lamp
-coaster
-nearby socket
-earplugs
Our ear plugs are in little organza bags in the drawer of each bedside table because the train runs near our house and you can hear it anywhere in town.
The file size of my photos exceeds the limits for posts, but:
The Air Room has candy dishes made out of milk glass holding earplug sachets.
The Water Room has blue glass bowls with ear plugs.
The Earth Room has built-in bedside tables with hard holding ear plugs.
Our Fire Room holds ear plugs in traditional cigar boxes.
I have a bedside unit with a drawer and 3 shelves. Top shelf is a great touch lamp with 3 levels and a built in iPhone plug in and second shelf has a box of tissue.
We leave a small flashlight because our Retreat has a few levels to it, so they come in handy.
I have a small bedside lamp and a cute box with compartments in it. It's a place for their change, watch, cell phone etc .. I also have a bottle of hand sanitizer for my guest.
I use a CPAP machine and am continually moving bibs and bobs left decoratively on bedside tables and searching for the closest PowerPoint when I stay away!
In my bungalow I have a really good reading light on each bedside table and a 4 spot power board on the floor beside each side.
For me I leave a welcome card for my Guests to feel at home😊
I have something similar. A note welcoming our guests sat beside a small wooden bowl we got from Uganda with Dark chocolate, small wine bottles and ear buds. In case it rains, you can hear it.
That's a lovely idea @Kathra0! Have your guests left any comments about the welcome card? 😊

I have two bedside tables with a cabinet. One at top off bed on there is a touch sensor night lamp.
Other at bottom side of bed on there a bath towel, hand towel, face cloth and a shower gel. That's it.
I have a lamp, clock with 2USB ports in the base of it a coaster and a small dish for jewelry.
I have two bed side tables , I only leave a small lamp, small dish for accessories on one and box of tissues on the other. Very minimal.
These are all great suggestions as a new host, who hasn't received their first guest, I am ready to outfit my side tables. Thanks guys 😊
Welcome @Paula2001! Hopefully, you'll find some good tips on this topic 😊

We have power outages in my area at times- I keep flashlights on the nightstand and scattered all over the cottage. There were 2 outages so far while guests were there so I am glad I left them. Kids always play with them- I find them left on, but haven't had to change the batteries as often as I thought I would.
Just tissues and a coaster. I have a wall lamp above the bed so no lamp is needed on the table.
I also don't leave anything on the bedside tables apart from a lamp and coasters. In the drawer I leave a small battery torch and a power adapter for visitors from abroad.
