What rents better

Hello everyone, new to hosting. !! We have land and want to put a rental on it. Wondering if RV or a 4 wall structure?. Would love to know what rents better.

Thank you

Denise

Hi @Denise2100

I’ll start with an RV or glamping unit first like to test your land’s demand and seasonality and build reviews and learn Airbnb hosting.

Then use the income to fund a permanent build later.

Hello @Denise2100 👋

A huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us. That's an interesting question! I wondered if you could share where you're located and perhaps I can try to tag some hosts from that area, who may be able to share what has worked from them?

Thank you , @Rebecca .  We are happy to be here and looking forward to this new chapter in our lives.   Our land is in Idaho,USA on this wonderful private fishing river.  Most of the rentals around us which are not many, are cabins.  We want to attract people that want to fish and also people traveling the beautiful country.  We want to be unique.

Thank you in advance for any comments.  We appreciate it.

Kindly,

Denise

Oh how fabulous, it sounds amazing!

I'd like to tag some hosts from Idaho who may be able to pop by and help you make a decision. @Janie139@Liza2947@Jessica3649@Susan1635@Melodie40@Liam2497@Dawn1104@James4472 and @Jacquie-And-Leah0: I wondered if you'd be able to chat with @Denise2100 about her question RV or 4 wall structure?

Looking forward to hearing from you 🤗

You'd have to do your own market research on likely local demand for both options then put together a profit and loss budget with likely costs and income to see is likely to be most profitable @Denise2100

Thank you Helen.  I have done a bit of research, but I will do a profit and loss.  Good advice.

Kindly,

Denise

@Patricia2526 Ooooo, I like that answer.  That is what I was thinking,  Start small, learn and then grow.

Thank you Kindly
