I have noticed a huge decline in our bookings through Air BnB this year - not been a huge issue until now because we have been hosting contractors from a nearby site but that has come to an end so I am paying more attention.
To my horror I find that a request for a week in Preston for four adults only shows our listing around 25 to 35th in the results - below many non superhosts and after a good number of listings up to 20 miles out of Preston. Once a potential guest has got to those listings fairly sure they would go back up assuming no more central options to be available.
we have always been in the top ten previously but no more - our most recent guests have actually cancelled their trip twice but on previous occasions our home didn’t even appear in their search results.
Have asked ABB to tell me why and would post their response but it reads like a collection of standard paragraphs and essentially it’s my fault lol! Change my picture and other amends to the listing info but this hasn’t been an issue in the past Can anyone tell me what to do - is there an existing thread with advice?.
