My hosting start date shown on my Listing is wrong, 2014, which is probably when I joined Airbnb. I just started hosting June 2021. That means people think I have 9 reviews over 7 years. Does anyone know how to change this?
@Shellie16 It’s not wrong, if 2014 is when you joined the platform. And no it can’t be changed. It’s also nothing to be fussed about. No one will notice or care. Guests look at reviews. Yours are great, that’s all that matters.
What @Colleen253 said. I noticed the same thing on my profile. It appears to be my join date, not when I started hosting date. It's sloppy of AirBnB, but who cares? Certainly not your guests. They likely won't even notice. Indeed, "it is nothing to be fussed about."
Thank you, I'm just a perfectionist! :). What does the Level mean here under your name?
@Shellie16 On your reviews, it says "Reviews from hosts" and "Reviews from guests", so it's actually clear to anyone who bothers to notice.
The levels here only relate to activity on this forum-how often you post, how many thumbs up your posts get. Just a social media thing- those levels don't appear anywhere else and have nothing to do with your listing or profile outside this forum.
@Shellie16 same here. It bothers me and it is simply not true. I do not host since 2016. In german it is even worse, it says, that I have been welcoming guests since 2016. We hosts are judged all the time, accuracy and so on, but this is simply wrong. I told airbnb, but they answered, there is nothing they can do or will do. It should say: joined airbnb in 2016. I wrote in my description that I joined airbnb in 2016, but host since 2018. It is a thing for me, because our tax office are watching in germany, that you inform them with the income from airbnb. So they are maybe thinking, i am hiding income. Which is not true. I want it to be corrected.
