linens

Hello Everyone!  Like most of us, brick and mortar stores are far and few anymore. I need to find some nice quality sheets. Who can help me? I've purchased several from Sam's Club, their Members Brand, wasn't happy with those and I'm not a fan of Microfiber from Amazon. I'd love to hear from you.                  Thank you so much.                               Sharon

Ana, thank you so much for replying. I'll definitely give that company a try. You're the second person that mentioned them to me. It's funny you mentioned ironing your sheets and pillowcases, I do too, but thought I must be a bit compulsive!! Glad I'm not the only one! LOL. I'd love see what the trim looks like on your sheets. Would it be difficult to send me a picture? And what is a bed runner? I have a throw on the bottom of the beds, is that the same thing?  I know that I've bombarded you with questions, hope you don't mind.

I look forward to hearing from you again.

@Sharon830 Costco microfiber used to be good and reasonably priced, but I haven’t purchased any recently.

I also used to get 100% cotton Eddie Bauer from bed bath and beyond, but they do wrinkle.

I’ve had no complaints on either of these two.

@Sharon830  Amazon. I get all cotton sheets there at a very reasonable price. California Design Den, 400 thread count, about $40 for a Queen set.

My personal opinion is that microfiber is horrible. I use all natural fiber bedding.

@Sharon830 , I also use California Design Den sheets (purchase on Amazon). I like the higher thread count (600+). I also like Vera Wang bedding sets (when on sale ) 600+ thread count. As long as I pull the sheets out of the dryer when done, I avoid the wrinkles (I have a wrinkle free option on my dryer). Not saying sheets come out with any wrinkles but with less wrinkles. I press/iron my pillow cases and flat sheets and keep extra pressed clean sheets hanging in linen closet. In order to make the bedding look luxurious, I add a stitching design to the flat sheet and pillow cases. I also make my own throw pillows and bed runners and change these throughout then year in order to give the bed and room a fresh look. Yes, 4-H & Home Economics sewing classes paid off…..

I have to admit, I am a bit OCD, okay that’s not true, I’m more than a bit OCD…Iol.  I switch up the stitching design on my bedding sheet sets. Some simply have a straight double stitch…

Oh my goodness Ana, I want to come and stay at your place!! How lovely. So you're stitching is from your sewing machine?

@Sharon830 , yes, the stitching design is from one of my sewing machines. I have a Brother sewing Machine a Bernina sewing machine.
