Hi there everyone! Anyone else have this issue? I recently installed a schlage encode smart wifi lock, when I try to connect rhe airbnb app to it it says no locks found, but it happens real quick (less than 2 seconds) like it didn't actually search. Both my airbnb app and schalge app are the newest versions. The lock is connected to wifi and works with the schlage app flawlessly. Any suggestions? Thank you any help!
Hi @Branden24 👋
It's been a while since you posted, did you manage to get the two connected in the end? If so, it would be great to hear what you did to get it sorted out.
Looking forward to hearing from you! 😊
It doesn't work on the 5g network it you also have a 2.5 network in your home. You just have to sign in on the 2.5g network. 🙂
@Jamie600 Your saying the airbnb app will only communicate with 2.5g devices? So I need to switch the lock from 5g to 2.5g?
@Branden24 No, not Airbnb, it is the Schlage lock. If you have both 5g and 2.5 it will need to sync with the 2.5. Though it may have been rectified by now with Schlage in new locks?
Unfortunately I was never able to get it to work. I have been using the schlage app to make changes manually, which is pretty easy actually.
Schlage had a forced update today for me and since that update, my Encode Wifi Plus cannot locate my wifi. I am manually able to unlock but this is not very convenient. Did this happen to you after updating?
No, fortunately i haven't had any issues with the schlage mobile app. It just won't work with airbnb.
hello I am having the same issue. I have tried everything and still it tell me no locks found. did you find a solution to this?
Unfortunately no...I tried again a few weeks ago. Still no locks found 🤷🏻♂️. So I just manually update it for each guest on the schage app.
Same issue here we can’t seem to figure it out. No one has been able to help.
