Whatever your Politics, my observation is that the people you annoy will remember much more than the people you support.

Simply bad business to annoy a large segment of the population.

I have a fairly active Facebook Page for a Non Profit I am involved in and I know there are many supporters who will not access it, they do not like Facebook. Got to the point where I am setting up another site. I am not that keen on Facebook either but it has been a simple solution.
