We are so excited to finally share Brian’s news about the Airbnb Host Advisory Board and Host Endowment today. I hope you’ve all received his letter by now.
This announcement marks a major milestone in our relationship with the host community. I have enjoyed meeting so many of you and reading your comments in the Community Center these last few months. It has made me realize how important it is to give hosts a seat at our table and an opportunity to be part of our company’s success.
Based on ongoing feedback, as well as recent workshops where we have connected with over 3,000 of you, these programs are intended to support the host community now and for generations to come.
I couldn’t be happier to be sending this note. We’ve worked hard to make progress this year, listening and addressing some of your top concerns. We know we still have work to do, but this announcement is a significant step in deepening our partnership with you.
I imagine you have questions, and we’ve prepared a guide to the programs here. You can also feel free to respond to this message and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.
I look forward to this new chapter in our partnership—and to introducing our Host Advisory Board members later this year.
Take care of yourselves,
@Carmen1596Do you get text alerts for Bookings/ Notifications?
Check in your Account profile if they are as you have set them as there's been all manner of IT glitches & settings change randomly as can be found looking in here..
It's one email I did get.
Thank you for sharing the link, I did see it in Catherine's post.
So I was supposed to get that on an email?
FYI the emails I have received from Airbnb are from;
- just out of interest, which email was the message sent from?
Lol! That's absurd.
I am planning to remove my property from airbnb as soon as I see any sign that they are limiting any bookings etc. They have completely lost sight of their original purpose, and all these changes just seem to be in their interests and not in the interests of hosts.
