Is anyone hosting for refugees?

@EmilieI think we’re having to do things off-platform as AirBnB are not enabling us to support the Ukrainians fleeing the war after all. I have true refugees with Uk visas under the UK Homes for Ukraine scheme who I cannot give free accommodation to through AirBnB. 

If we ask them to book through the system even if we drop our rate to zero - I assume that fees will still be payable? 

Is there really no way that AirBnB could waive fees/platform charges for Ukrainian guests holding the correct visas? So that hosts do not lose their status as well as their income for offering this type of help when they’re in need?? 

I appreciate you don’t make the rules but it would be great if you could feed this back to who does!

Did the family you were going to host arrive and settle ok in the end? 🙂
