Earlier this year, Airbnb announced that it was expanding its rewards program for Superhosts. Several new benefits were introduced, including an extra 20% cash bonus for referring new hosts. (Hosts can make up to $600 in referrals, depending on their location.) That’s in addition to the benefits Superhosts have long enjoyed, like priority placement in search results and the Superhost profile badge.
Since then, the Airbnb team has done more research to improve the Superhost experience even more. That’s why they’ve decided to adjust certain rewards to focus on the most impactful benefits. The goal is to expand the rewards program in the next year or so. Stay tuned for announcements on this— hopefully by early 2019.
If you’re a Superhost and want to learn more, log in to your account and visit the Superhost rewards portal.
The Airbnb team would love to hear your thoughts on Superhost rewards. Which benefits do you enjoy most? Which new benefits would you like to see?
We look forward to hearing from you on this one.
Thanks!

I'm hosting to augment a painfully insufficient Social Security income. I can not afford to travel - period! - so getting $100 credit to use on lodging elsewhere is a non-starter. I'd rather have a once a year bonus - even $20! - for keeping up the Superhost status, or a gift certificate to Amazon. I cannot use travel benefits. I need income to live.
We've been Superhosts for several years in a row now, and we'd appreciate a greater reward such as the $100 bonus reward for each quarter we achieve Superhost status rather than the $100 bonus once a year. That would be a greater incentive.

How about of being rewarded with $100 for experiences too?
I totally with Eric and Uru
Instead:
1. Give us higher search rankings than non superhosts.
2. Ability to have up to 2 cancellations for no reason
3. Ability to have 2 reviews to be deleted for no reason
4. Still get compensated 50% amount for any cancellations even in the event of natural disasters
if you have strict cancellation policy enabled.
(As some of here do Airbnb full time. How is that income going to be replaced?)
5. Provide a points reward system for Superhosts (even guests) just like hotels and airlines.
I do agree with Ute in Germany. She share the same thoughts
Superhosts should be granted the priviledge, to refuse / cancel 3 reservations per year for no reason at all..
Also they should be granted to withdraw 1 - 3 guest reviews without having to give any reason.
I think you should follow Mary Kay Ash's advice. Different things motivate different people. Give a wider choice of rewards available. The rewards/awards seem to be limited. It would be cool to have increasing rewards or levels as well. The longer you have kept up superhost status the bigger the travel voucher. Being able to choose from cash back, travel voucher, professional photographer, perks like being able to waive instant booking. Just more variety and choice in rewards.
We love the $100 travel bonus, as well as the Superhost filter that allows people to narrow their search to Superhosts. We love offering positive, memorable stays!
Less information to make a hosting decision on is NOT what I want, and with your new profile pic policy, that's just what you give us. It forces us to rely solely on Airbnb's word they're good people, and that is wrong. I use the profile picture to try and locate them on social media to get a feel for who they are. I do NOT discriminate based on color or race, and my reviews show that. For me, I use all the tools at my disposal to make a decision based on that person and all the information I can gather. You continue to side with guests over hosts in every decision you make, and before long, there will be only guests and no hosts. As a long time Superhost, I say give us more tools to make the decisions we need to make as to who we open up our homes and the safety of our family and loved ones to. (Also, have you seen all the information you get from Couchsurfing.com on travelers who want to stay with you? Why is this so hard?)
Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and input. I have really enjoyed being a Superhost since I feeling having joined a network of likeminded people who enjoy entertaining and creating memorable experiences for others. Being a Superhost is not easy as we all have to live up to everyone's standard while we have been creative with utilizing our existing space and have done our best to scale it up to a 5 start hotel): So kudos to all of you. Regarding Superhost rewards, I believe Superhosts should be given more options to choose from. For example, I do not feel like referring friends or families as a host as I do not feel comfortable, therefore this offer does not benefit me at all. I would like to see more options for us to redeem those points such as travel, cash back, gift card, free memberships, etc.
Can anyone tell me what the Level means beside the Superhost badge?
As a superhost you should be able to Delete negative feed back ... like someone complained that the Cabin was full of spiders when I have never seen a spider in the Cabin in 6 years that I have owned the property.
As a superhost myself, when I travel I try to stay with super-hosts. I stayed in one place by the Shard in London in September if this year and the bathroom and shower were disgusting. I left a review and I’m not sure how people keep there superhost status with things like this. They even locked us out of the apartment saying they forgot they had guests!! How does this happen??
Expecting it to be more EXCITING! thanks~ Current reward is less motivating.
Hello @Hitomi8,
Great to see your comment here. Thanks for the feedback.
Have you got any suggestions around this?
Thanks,

I started Aibnb back in Late Nov of 2016. Worked up to Superhost after my first 10 guests and have remaind so ever since. My gripe with Aibnb is that I would like to be able to have only people with some form of "Govt ID" book with me. (I like the people who come to stay with us to be who they say they are.) Little to ask. Yet, because I am a "request" only and NOT an "instant" book, I have to waste precious time - not just my time, but potential guests also - asking pre-bookers to add their ID's. I have lost bookigs because sometimes these people are on the road ad simply don't have the requied ID with them
Despite having it typed in capitals on my 'home page' people STILL try and book. When I asked "support" at Airbnb about according us the same right as Instant bookers - they said no!
My home page - where I describe my home has precious little space and to have to use this space to have to use capital so it's seen simply doesn't work AND comes across as somwhat agressive. ( imo)
There really should be a criteria for Superhosts to only allow those with Govt ID to request to book.
PLEASE?!
I agree 100%
