The FIFA World Cup 26^TM is coming to 16 cities across North America in June. More than 1 million tickets have already been sold—and fans find out December 5 where their favorite teams will play in the first round of matches. We expect a surge in bookings to follow.

The FIFA World Cup 26^TM  is the largest single-sport event in history. Over 380,000 guests are expected to use Airbnb to find and book places to stay for the tournament. Hosts could collectively earn up to $210 million USD.* 

Matches will be held in these cities: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City, Monterrey, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver.

Try these tips for attracting more guests:

• Add availability. Open all the nights you’d like to host in June and July 2026. The dates of local matches are highlighted on your calendar. 
• Adjust your calendar settings. Set your availability window to 9 months so guests can book now. Consider changing or removing your minimum trip length to allow short stays.
• Set custom prices. Consider competitive pricing for special events, which may help you get more bookings.

Just think people travelling to USA rules have changed for imigration by our Mr Trump. We have been informed in Australia today.

1. Hand over your phone for checking all phone numbers including relatives.

2. Name the social media pages you have been on on the last 5 years.

3. Visa fees have gone up. 

I think most people will go to Canada or Mexico in preference to the USA unless your country is playing there.

I would be concerned with the Trumps police walking the streets and if they don't like the look of your face who knows what is going to happen to you.

Sadly I personally feel for Airbnb Hosts in the USA as international tourism is down 60% this year. But they have said the USA countrymen are travelling instead supporting the tourism industry and only booking up to 2 weeks in advance. 

I hope things change for our Aurbnb Hosts. We need hope and I am thinking of you and  I support you.

My Airbnb is about an hour and 15 min from Seattle and less than an hour from the furthest south transit which is new. Although my house sits on a lake and is a huge success in the summer months, should I expect to receive any increased pricing over the world cup? Should I adjust accordingly?

We are between these two cities for the futbol games on Monterrey and Mexico City if you need to have travel  on bus o car between the cities thing is a good idea one night after on San Luis potosi Mexico

I have a 3BR, 2BA recently-remodeled home with a great entertainment center, kitchen, and outdoor living space. It is close to the light rail station that takes fans directly to Lumen Field in Seattle. I don't intend to make my home available at any other time than for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, for which this is an ideal location for a group of futbol fans. How should I go about posting it to get attention?
