My problem with AI listing my beach condo is that it says 20 minute walk to the beach. My condo is a 2 minute walk to the beach. You see this when you click on View. I’m sure potential bookings looking to be close to the water with a view will be deterred from booking after seeing this. My listing also says walkable. I wouldn’t consider my condo walkable either. You can walk to 2 places, but you really need a car to go eat or shop. The closest thing you can walk to is the beach, and unfortunately AI thinks my condo is 20 minutes away. I’ve sent the coordinates and you can see we are almost on the beach. I’m so frustrated. Airbnb support only wants me to change categories. I have 2 properties they are next door to each other. They both have
the same categories. My other condo says amazing views, self checkin and beach.
why can’t AI just put that on both?
Hello @Sallie25
There are many hosts experiencing the same frustrating issue so in the link below you'll read about them and possible solutions to remedy the situation:

Yes...this is a "bug" related to the Winter Release 2024 with the proximity callouts; especially for beach properties. The software has been released to the entire platform now and many Hosts having problems with the "distance" to a particular beach being way off. Many have the same problem as you where it says "20min walk" when in actuality it is actually much less to the sand. I believe Airbnb is using a 3rd party software (Elevate) to generate these and their algorithm isn't doing it right. Elevate is also assigning the Categories and there have been issues with that as well.
@Rebecca could you add this listing to all the others that have been forward to the Airbnb Team that is handling these issues?
Airbnb’s AI is not very intelligent…
My guest house is a 3 min walk from a beach and a lake, but the AI will not acknowledge this. Instead it keeps insisting that one of the ”highlights” of my listing is that it is a 1-hour drive from a national park. The part is far south of Stockholm, I’m north of Stockholm. Actually, out of all the listings in the Stockholm area, I don’t think many listings are farther away from that national park, than mine… They seem to have an obsession with national parks...😏
