Has anyone experienced this? I've tried uploading different photos—horizontal, vertical, and even at 1064x700—but I’m still having issues. Any advice? Thank you.

Probably the file size is too big and you will need to resize @Michael9774

You need to check the file type...if on your phone they may be in HEIC format. They need to be in jpg or JPEG file format.
