Maybe i missed the memo or have not discovered the feature but I am not able to attach images to scheduled messages. I am aware of how to include shortcode but there is no attach image option to go along with the short code.
In 2021 this topic was mentioned and since then AirBnB has done some good things with scheduled messages but I think this is an obvious miss. https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Advice-on-your-space/Add-photo-to-Scheduled-Message/td-p/1521292
Can we get some momentum back again on this?
Hosts need the ability to attach an image to a scheduled message. It wastes our time having to follow-up a scheduled message to send a photo of the intersection or other supporting images that are not part of the public listing. For example, I would rather not show the exact intersection of my house in the public listing photos. However, that photo along with the Google Pin helps people find the house.
There are several other examples that people can reply here with why this feature is a must have.
I thought scheduled messages was supposed to save us time? Why not get back to basics and enable hosts to save time with this feature.: https://youtu.be/u90Xd3elAls?si=O3ZIwCF3IO6b4qQv . This will definitely be a big change in the scheduled messages form but... its been 3 years.

Currently there is no way to do this with a Scheduled Message. You could manually attach photos to a Quick Reply, but that is very time-consuming. Some Hosts send a PDF document via text or email. Android users can't receive PDFs, so they use WhatsApp.
The only other option I am aware of is using a Channel Manager who allows you to attach images to automated messages.
Hi @Lester46
Agree we should be able to add photos to Scheduled messages, but alas, we still cannot. You can however, add photos to your checkin guide. Used to be you could only do that on a phone, but if you are using the new software, you can do it on a computer now:
New Check-in Guide:
Previous Checkin Guide in App
Yes. That is a great suggestion for checkin activity.
However, during their stay and checkout I have scheduled messages that require supporting photos.

A year later.... other feature releases and this basic request has not been done yet.
Yes.. the better option is a channel manager.. and that also assumes i am using other platforms... why would they want us to use less of their platform directly... SMH... this is such a basic reqeuest
Still no solution... a year later.. SMH
We would really like to see this feature also. We have to send multiple messages after a booking with pics attached to help guests find our place.
Hi @Rob-And-Leanne0,
Thank you for coming in to share your experience and need in regard to this feature! I wanted to include the official Airbnb feedback form here as well, so you can share your suggestion directly with Airbnb. 🙂
Have a lovely day,
Emilie

*Only potentially helpful for check-in messages*
I use the check-in instructions with pictures attached in the arrival guide for the listing. You can have multiple check-in instructions, each with a photo attached, and put them in order to suit.
I use scheduled messages to release the key lock box code two hours before check-in.
Sorry...a bit late responding...
The problem is most guests don't know where to go in the App to see all those great photos and instructions you setup in the Arrival Guide. Many do not know they have to:
Go to their Trips Tab
Click the photo of the listing
Scroll down to Check-in/How to Get Inside
This is why many hosts send the information in a message, as guests have not seen the photos/instructions in the Arrival Guide. Airbnb needs to add a shortcut link to the Arrival Guide/Check-in photos, so Hosts can simply add that link to their check-in message. As it is now, Hosts are forced to manually do this by attaching images to messages manually, or creating a Dropbox link or GoogleDocs link that contains the photos and adding that link to their check-in message.
See this thread for a discussion on this topic:
Agreed! Guests don’t want to navigate to find info. My listings are rural and the address only helps get to the approximate location. I use satellite/maps images to help guests find the property, especially in the dark. It would be unbelievably helpful if Airbnb allows to attach images to scheduled messages (my pre-arrival directions message in this instance).
