Accused for a mountain-view unit but my room is on the ground floor – why is this happening?
My listing just opened in September and I have utility bills and a lease agreement as proof. Although my unit is in the same condo building as another listing, the layouts and bathrooms are different. The furniture is partly original from the condo but I added my own decorations, appliances and took all the photos myself. I also included some pictures of the shared facilities.
My listing has 41 photos, while the other listing has 18 and our interior styles are completely different. I wasn’t aware this other unit existed.
I sent additional evidence via email after my first appeal was rejected within a day. I’m very stressed because my unit has never been listed on Airbnb before. The owner usually rents it annually and I am the first person to have a lease agreement to sublet this unit.
I have received 5-star reviews from consecutive guests and I currently have guests staying for several days. I feel heartbroken about this situation and just want fairness. I really don’t understand why this is happening.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.
