When I search for any stay from Oct 28 to 31, single night, “entire place” stay, there is zero result in the entire United States. Only private rooms and hotels are showing.
If I change the date range to more than one night (such as check in Oct 28, check out Oct 30), then I can find entire-place stays.
There is no such an issue for other dates that I can find.
Originally, I was just trying to find my own listing for Oct 28, which is not booked or blocked, but Airbnb says it’s not available when you view it as a guest. So I tried to find any entire-stay listing anywhere in the US. There is still none. So I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
I tried different devices, browsers, and accounts. I asked a few friends to do the same search. Still the same result.
I’ve been noticing this glitch/bug for a few days. So I messaged Airbnb support. They were not helpful at all. They didn’t believe me because they couldn’t find an issue on their end. I don’t ever want to talk to them again.
This is not that big of an issue for me. It will at most result in $200 loss of income. But the loss could be a lot more for other hosts and guests, and I want to make sure it is not a persisting bigger issues.
So could you please do the following sample search, and tell me if you have the same issue? Or am I crazy?
Search for one night stay, check in Oct 28, check out Oct 29, for two people, filter by entire place, any city in the U.S.
Do you get any result?
