Airbnb is setting the wrong priorities focusing on stupid little IA generated icons and font changes while functionality for hosts is constantly decreasing
The toal amount for a selected period in the calendar is no longer visible. The box now shows "400-600 brL per night" Who cares???? I can see the nightly rates if I look at the calendar. I want to see the toal for the period I selected to adjust pricing.
No more list of set custom trips lengths. Previously, under Avaliablity => Custom trip length, I culd see the periods and the minimum days so there was a better overview. No that overview is gone.
Why does Airbnb confuse hosts and not allow them to properly manage their calendars?
No invoices for extra services. Businesses can book for their employees. If a hosts charges for extra services, like electricity or extra cleaning, Airbnb cant provide invoices for these amounts. If there is Airbnb for Work, there should be proper invoicing because businesses will obviously want invoices for all the amounts they pay.
Impossible to set one- off extra service fee. Currently the system only allows setting a per night extra guest fee. There is no way to charge a one- off fee, for example for extra laundry. To make it worse, the system doesnt allow values under a certain limit. Why???
Impossible to choose the first day of the week in the calendar. Im European, live in Europe. For me the first day of the week is Monday. i host in Brazil where the first day of the week is Sunday. Airbnb automatically shows my calendars with sunday as the first day of the week. it confusing.
Can Airbnb please start thinking beyond stupid little IA generated images?
