Anyone willing to help a newbie with some listing questions?

We just purchased a property for the purpose of an airbnb.  It is a beautiful, spacious home on 5 acres.  I am a wfpb coach teaching raw food and wfpb lifestyle and juice cleanses.   I however have a need in my area for a large home, such as the one we've purchased, as an airbnb for large family gathers, out of towners attending local events etc.

Is there a way to run two separate listings for the same house, depending on the type of stay they want ie: family wanting house for reunion, or individual or group that wants to have the holistic experience (juice fast, sound healing, etc).

Has anyone here made one home available in two different stay options?  If so would you mind sharing any info, tips, etc.

Thank you in advance.

M.K.

Maybe you can offer the experience as an Airbnb experience, to be offered seperately ? :

You can create more listings for same house, but useally it is done by offering part of the host (like rooms) separately in addition to offer the whole house.

Listings can be linked to each other:

Thank you so much.  That is what I was wondering.  Our property will be ready in about 30 days so I was not sure if I could go through all the way the set up process or not.  Without me doing it I was not sure how it all works. I really appreciate your help.

@Michel6946  The problem with offering a listing with a very particular type of experience in mind is that Airbnb doesn't have a search method that would allow guests who are looking for that to find you. You can filter a search by location, occupancy, number of beds, accessibility requirements and key amenities, but Holistic Retreat and Family Renuion are not searchable options.

If you're offering completely different inclusive amenities for different kinds of groups, I guess a second listing might be necessary. But what what I'd suggest instead is having one listing featuring what you offer to all groups, and advertising optional add-on services that guests can choose to pay for separately after booking. This could synergize your business goals, but you might take some target marketing outside of the platform to reel it in.

Andrew,

Thank you so much!  This is all new to me so I am so appreciative of your help.  I was not aware that there isn't a search method that helps them narrow down by subjects.     I think I may see if I can do as both of you have mentioned.. two listings perhaps because the two stay options are quite different.  Thank you for the help.

I would just have one listing as other hosts have advised not the two you are suggesting. This will me it easier for you to manage. @Michel6946

remember Airbnb does not allow parties

you can easily offer ads on services for additional costs

have a look at the Airbnb Help website to help familiarise yourself with how Airbnb works

Thank you Helen.  Yes I absolutely want to minimize the workload in management, so one would make it easier.  I am trying to navigate my way around the help area now 🙂 I appreciate it!
