Blocked calendar, still accepting bookings -whaat???

Hi, I have just had a shock, because I had my calendar blocked for the coming weekend AND i had asked for 1 day between bookings, and Air BnB allowed a guest to book on the blocked days. Whaat? I'm not happy as this puts me into the position of having to cancel the reservation, apologise to the potential guest, and now I'm worried that it will happen again.

Has anyone else had this problem?

This is a known glitch that sometiems occurs.

Never ever ever cancel yourself in situations like this - you will be penalised.

Ring airbnb Cs, explain what has happened and nicely insist that they do the cancelling their end, penalty free.
