Hello
I noticed today that all my properties calendars are open one year in advance despite my setting being only three months in advance.
Luckily I caught it as I can't host on some of the open dates.
Has anyone else had this issue.

Hello again @Joan2709
My understanding is that this ability for guests to ask for dates that are closed on the calendar is only for those that offer Instant Bookings which may go to explain why some of the calendars you've looked at Joan don't have that feature.
I'm not on IB and I don't have that extra caption that @Andrea6232 shows in his screen shot with the option of taking it off.
Ahaaa! That makes perfect sense! It wouldn't make sense to use this on listings that are already using Request to Book, but only for those with IB. Perhaps this is to encourage Hosts who use Instant Book to provide more availability further out, kinda like the optional setting for Advance Notice? Let me check some addl listings using IB:
Hi @Tony-And-Una0 😊,
I’m sorry about this issue.
Have you been able to solve it with the help of our wonderful hosts?
Don’t hesitate to let me know, I’m here to help as well!

Unfortunately is still happening.
I don't thinks it's something we can fix at our end.
The app updated and the issue was fixed.
Please tell me how you updated the app on your laptop. I still have this problem.
The issue is back.
It was fixed for one day but is happening again.
It's now reverted back to the same issue. Sigh
Hello everyone. In my collective calendar for all eight listings, I see that I have open dates for a year ahead, i.e. until 2026-01-16. In the calendars of individual listings, it looks the same. However, as a non-logged-in guest, I cannot reserve any of my listings beyond the 6-month availability period. This is a bug in the application. I did not receive a notification about the possibility of performing an application update on my laptop.
I use instant booking on all listings. I have my calendar availability set to 6 months. In my laptop browser, I see that my listings are open for bookings 12 months in advance. However, guests see them as unavailable on their site.
I'm writing here on the hosts forum because I feel like you all as a community can help me better than the support department.
Please provide information in this thread whether the problem has been solved and how. Please also unmark this topic as "solved"
All the best to managers, admins and all forum users in 2025 !
Hello. I wanted to note that the problem has not been solved, @Tony-And-Una0 also wrote about it. Please help us explain this error in the application @Elisa , @Rebecca, @Paula, @Bhumika, @Emilie , @Joan2709 , @Joelle43 , @Mike-And-Jane0
This does not change the operation of the application, does not give guests the opportunity to make an unwanted reservation, but it is a certain difficulty in finding out until when we have an open calendar. It is not very user friendly to check the availability of your own calendar from the position of a guest who is not logged in. This error appears for me both on the browser on the laptop and on the mobile application. I will be grateful for help.
I now have to make a manual note what dates on my calendar are actually open or not as the calendar can no longer be relied on.
