Can you set a minimum number of guests?

My listing has 4 double bedrooms and is set for a maximum of 8 guests with a minimum of 2 nights for each stay. However, when a friend searched for my listing with the parameters of 2 guests, my listing does not come up. You have to search for a minimum of 3 guests, can you set the minimum number of guests to 1?

Thanks so much!

@Emma4460 no you can't (and neither can we). Perhaps consider a second smaller listing with 2 bedrooms locked off as long it doesn't compromise fire safety.

Airbnb's algorithm decides the parameters for search results and understands that a listing your size would not normally be booked by 2 guests.

@Mike-And-Jane0 have an excellent idea in that you can create multiple listings:

Parent: entire listing

Child A: 2 bedorms

Child B: 3 bedrooms

Then price the listings accordingly and sync them properly. Child A and Child B will appear in more searches for less guests. Be sure you clearly describe that unused bedrooms/bathrooms will be locked off in the child listings and be sure you have an efficient way to do that. Many Hosts use digital keypad locks for bedrooms and lock off bathrooms not included in the child listings. The front door should have a smart lock.

If doing this, turn on professional hosting tools and use the multicalendar as it's easier to track the listings in one calendar view. Multicalendar only available on the desktop though; not the App.
