Hi @Zornitsa2 😊

Thank you for asking this here.

Did you find out anything about this in the meantime?

I’m tagging a few hosts in case they know how to help you: @Shannon1151@Tara0@Till-and-Jutta0 and @Shelley159.

Thank you in advance, everyone!

Help me, @Zornitsa2 , what is a "Certificate of Categorization No."? Kind of a local registration number for STR?

Hi @Zornitsa2 There is no certificate required on the Airbnb platform as far as I know (here in the UK, I do not have to fill a category certificate). If your country requires a 'certificate' then you might need to contact a local authority?

Hi @Zornitsa2

I looked at some listings in Bulgaria to see if I can spot a place where they put such a number, but I couldn't see any.

I've seen that hosts in some parts of the world put a registration number at the end of their listing description. You can perhaps put it there while you investigate the issue.

I think it's best to ask your local host club how they do it:

Thank you all very much for your responses.! There is a field on the Booking website to enter this number, so I assumed there would be one here as well. This is a legal requirement for operating short-term rentals legally in my country.
