Change minimum stay requirement for specific days to fill voids in calendar?

Hello hosts!

I am a new host, currently hosting my first guests.   I have a question about the minimum stay settings.  My calendar quickly filled up for about 5 weeks upon making my listing active with a 3 night minimum stay requirement.  However, I have a couple gaps between my reservations of 1 to 2 days.

I would like to maintain a general minimum of a 3 night stay, however, I would like to allow single night stays ONLY for specific days located between longer bookings.   Is there a way I can allow single night stays ONLY for specific dates on my calendar to fill gaps?

I haven't managed to find such a setting.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Rob175,

You can do that as follows.

On a computer go to your calendar and click on "manage settings" in the top right hand corner.

Then click on "Availability" and then on the "Edit" button in the "Trip length" section.

You may have to scroll down to see the "Add a requirement for seasons or weekends" link. Click on that.

Then from the "during" drop down box select "Specific dates" and enter the date range for your gap. Then set the minimum to 1.

Select "Save". If you want to set a minium for another date range click on "Add another requirement" and proceed as above.

Select "Save" again when you've set the minumum for all gaps.

You can delete the requirement by clicking on the "X" in the "During x-y guests stay ..." line.

It can also be done on the Android app by going to your calendar, selecting the wheel icon in the top right and then tapping on "calendar settings", "trip lenght" and "Add a seasonal requirement".

Steve.

I'm not sure if anything changed or it's user error, but I'm in my calendar and do not see "manage settings". Any ideas to help me? Thank you.

Go to your calander, select the nights in question, to the right will pop up a rules window.  Scroll down and you'll see how many rules it has.  Edit the rule that covers days and choose 1.

Is this function still available? I cannot find "rules" there anywhere. Thanks.

I see the rules but, changing the minimum stay length isn't allowed here. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for the info, so very helpful. Now just because I'm away for a week, I won't miss any monthly booking that might be coming my way.

I don't see it either.  I was able to change my prices for Holiday Rates, but I'd like to change the min number of days for those as well.  The box doesn't have anything about this - just about smart pricing, etc

This is the current way to do it, on the Australian version anyway.

you can go to your calendar, select these 1 or 2 gap days and set the "rule set" min stay 1 (or 2) nights

This works, thank you

Does anyone know how to overrule the macro check-in dates settings?  I can see how to lower the minimum stays, but I can never seem to override my Saturday to Saturday restrictions for a specific time (e.g. I'd like to allow Thursday and Friday check-ins during May but for the rest of the year only want Saturdays.  Any one ever manage to adjust?

Hi Scott did you find a solution to this as I'm having the same issue?

Does anyone know how to add the Length of stay for specific dates on their updated website?

@Lindsay506 you need to switch pro tools on in your account and then apply a ruleset to your listing's calendar.

@Mike-And-Jane0 can you walk me through where to get to pro tools from the website (im using a laptop)
