Change my account from business to personal host

I might clicked or filled something wrong when i created my profile as a host, now Airbnb consider me as a business account and asked me to upload a business proof within a deadline. I have contact the Airbnb support 4 times, but they always get me the same information article and no solution. It's very frustrated since I just started being a host.

It sounds like Airbnb mistakenly categorized your account as a business instead of an individual host. Since support hasn’t been helpful, try these steps:

  1. Double-Check Your Account Settings

    • Go to Account → Payments & Payouts → Taxpayer Information and see if there’s an option to change from a business to an individual account.

  2. Remove Any Business-Related Details

    • If you entered a company name, VAT number, or business address anywhere, try removing them in your Profile & Listing settings.

  3. Escalate the Issue

    • Contact Airbnb again, but this time request to speak with a senior support representative.

    • Explain that you accidentally selected a business account and need it switched to an individual host account.

    • Keep emphasizing that you are not a business and do not have business documentation.

    • Try Creating a New Account (as a last resort)

      • If Airbnb does not resolve the issue and your deadline passes, you might need to start fresh with a new account under the correct settings.

I know this is frustrating, especially as a new host, but hopefully, one of these steps helps!

Thank you so much for the answer! I have tried them all already, unfortunately all the information is blocked and not editable. I have talked with Airbnb in the past week everyday and always the same answer, I think I will just register a new account to make my life easier:) I really appreciate you answer!
