I'm A.D. in Metro Atlanta, GA. I'm currently furnishing my home with the intention for 30+ day stays, and just published my listing with dates blocked up to my anticipated completion date. In the meantime I've virtually staged my rooms with similar furnishings and decor in the works. Please advise on my listing what I should consider changing and/or adding in the description, etc.
Thanks

@A-D-1 Very nice home and I would say you are going in the right direction, it's going to be beautiful and attract great guests. If your business model is for longer term stays, I have a couple of suggestions.
For the living room furniture- I suggest something a little heartier and functional. Larger coffee table, may some side tables. A more comfortable couch. Think deep and plush that you sink into.
What is proposed is gorgeous but probably better suited to the shorter several night stays where it likely wouldn't get a lot of use vs someone staying longer. Think coming home from work and just wanting to sprawl on the comfy couch to watch some Netflix. How about playing a board game with their partner on the larger coffee table. Room for a large pizza box 😬
Bedroom and bedding is lovely. Maybe a sitting chair or bench to put their shoes on.
Kitchen is beautiful! I am a sucker for blue cabinets. Have a nice coffee maker which looks like what is on tap. Maybe even an airfyer for quick meals after work.
That deck!. You can really make that very warm and welcoming as well as functional. Def a table for 6 with chairs, an umbrella with an indoor outdoor rug. How about a nice propane grill if you are OK with the risk that can come with grills. A guest could really see themselves relaxing after work cooking on the grill and relaxing on a Sunday with coffee or their favorite beverage.
You are doing great! Best of luck 🙂
Place looks good! When I looked at the first pic, I wondered why the sides of the house weren't on there - but pic was just cut down somewhat b/c it was somewhat trimmed down on the main pic.
Would get a new pic of bathroom once the shower curtain is in.
Might try to get the attic string up higher.
Are you only going to give people the opportunity to book out for 90 days??? Might suggest extending that timeframe - but I really don't know what I'm talking about for the 30+ day rentals!
Hope that helps!
Good luck!

Hi @A-D-1,
As it's been a few weeks now, and you've received quite a bit of advice, I wanted to check in 🙂 How is your listing preparation going, is it fully furnished and ready to welcome guests now?
I would be great to know which of the suggestions you found most helpful along the way!
Thanks,
Emilie

Congrats on your first listing 🎉 For 30+ day stays, highlight who you’re targeting and key amenities like Wi-Fi, workspace, and parking. Long term, a direct booking website can help you showcase your home, take repeat bookings without fees, and sync calendars with Airbnb so you’re less dependent on it
Thanks for your response. Is there a specific service I would need to use to sync my calander with Airbnb from my own website (or is that functionality available through Airbnb calender)?
Furnishing took longer than expected, but it's finally completed. I'm still tweaking my listing details, but welcome feedback to my furnishings and setup.
Thanks
Hi @A-D-1,
That's great news, I'm glad your listing is now ready!
@Book90 @Cory249 @Andy4300 @Karen114 @Marie8425 @Angie924 Would you mind taking another look at the listing and share any more feedback you have based on the latest changes?
Thanks everyone 😊
