Hi @Karen4551 ,
Welcome to the community and congratulations on your listing! Have you received your first booking enquiry yet?
I was wondering if a few of our hosts had some suggestions, what do you think @Ahmed570, @Jonathan2725, @Jirigarthe0 and @Jane4673.
Thank you everyone for your help 🙂
Alex
Karen,
I just looked at your photos. I keep the descriptions to help the guests understand what they are looking at and leave out any instructions for their stay.
Any guidelines for your guests should be kept in the guidelines section. This way, they are in one place.
I also have guideiness printed and held to the fridge with a magnet for guests that may not be techy 🙂
Hi @Paul11133! 👋
Thank you so much for this feedback! I'm sure Karen will appreciate this tips. 🙂
Do you give guests this guidelines online or in person? Are they usually clear about them or do they ask any questions?
Best,
Alex
Thanks Paul! I really appreciate your time looking at my listing and your feedback. Your suggestions make a lot of sense. I’ll update my listing asap!
Hi Karen, what a cute cabin. For Sprice Tip- It sounds like it is in a great location. I would highlight that in your title something like" Cozy cabin, free bikes, walk to town, firpit, grill, nearby trails" because those are things that will attract guests). Your photos show your place is clean but the inside shots look dark, I would try to lighten the images up (professional photos) and also put some colorful local art or beautiful photography on canvas of images of the area on the walls so they arent blank and also so it feels special and customized to Alaska- it may make the rooms pop a little more and just have a little more appeal. I also wouldn't have 3 of your 5 images be basically the same shot of the front of the cabin. One idea is you can take a shot of the grill and the firepit with a fire in it with some surrounding chairs to help people picture themselves there enjoying the outdoors, or feature the bikes. It looks like a great place, and a few simple tweaks could make a big difference! yarrows nest is adorable. I would suggest similar tweaks for that property, People would love to stay there but highlighting some of the features in a way that helps people picture themselves there may make them choose your place over another. Also, a nice area rug in the family room could cozy up the space a little and improve the photo. Nice job. Good luck!
Thank you so much for you answer, @Racquel23!🤗
I really appreciate your feedback! Slowly but surely, the spaces are getting cozier. And nature is finally starting to reclaim the outdoor space after construction.
I never considered how I could take images of the inside and outside spaces being used could help market the cabins better. I’m very excited about this idea!
