Lindie here from Cape Town, South Africa.

We rent out our holiday house on many platforms, but we have not been successful with it on AirBnB. After trying various tricks and techniques (even a channel manager), we deleted it and relisted it afresh. Happily AirBnB sent a professional photographer and the images have been loaded.

I can see that it has been added to wishlists, however, no requests yet. Am I impatient? Is there something obvious that I'm not saying/showing?

I hadn't considered those points, so thank you, they are most useful and it's certainly do-able.

My husband and I had fun deciding which 4 things we consider our place's USPs that we'd like to highlight.

Hi Lindie

It’s obvious you have put a lot of effort into your place. There is a lot going on, lots of different little rooms and spaces. Its not clear to me how they work together, the flow of the house. You should describe the home in detail in About the Space section so the layout is clear or even post a floor plan. I also don’t see any real clothes storage in any of the bedrooms? If you are getting bookings elsewhere think about who are your clients and why are they choosing your place- families? 2 couples? Maybe 6 guests is too many for the size of the kitchen for instance.  I am also confused about the rocks under the bathtub, but I’m sure there is a good reason. 🙂 The outdoor area looks amazing, by the way. Love  your views!

Good idea - I have a floorplan posted on another site, I'll load it up on AirBnB.

I had to giggle about the rocks under the bath . You know how sometimes we think our décor idea is original and then somebody bursts our bubble? 😉 [We've been watching "The Block" by Channel Nine and seen one person's ideas can often seem quite strange to others.]

And yes, perhaps we should accentuate the views and the proximity to attractions in the area more.
