Critique my listing -Owen-Eastbourne,UK

Hello Everyone,

We put our listing on Airbnb 3 weeks ago, pretty much every day since we got bookings, sometimes 6 a day, all of a sudden it completely stops. Now 4 days with nothing. I know it gets a boost at the beginning, but I didn’t expect this.

We have adjust write ups and photos and feel we have been on top of the pricing

Maybe review your pricing?  When I searched Essex your pricing was significantly higher and your ad doesn't seem to offer something others don't?

Wow that's amazing to be getting six bookings a day . @Owen370 

your place looks lovely - really like the way you've decorated it. 

You are correct you do get an artificial boost in the rankings for the first month or so then you compete with everyone else .

do check your pricing to make sure you are in line with similar listings in your area . 

once you start getting more (hopefully) five star reviews you will move further up and therefore attract more reviews. 

many markets in the UK are oversaturated so this does make it harder to get bookings .

Your listing says you don't supply Essentials - it's crossed off under Amenities but am sure you do as you list bed linen in the bedrooms.

The more amenities we have, the more the algorithm favours us😉

Have you made a search in private mode to see on which page you appear?  How many views are you getting and how many people have put your listing in their Wish list?

Hello Joelle, thank you for taking the time. I have corrected the essentials.

I have done checks in private and we come up on the first or second page, 

We have been live for around three weeks, When I go to insights and views it says 767 in the past 30 days. I cannot see any option to check how many people put our property in their wish list ?!

If you have Airbnb Profession al Mode turned on

For me I choose Insights

I can then see how many times displayed on First Page 

Views which is views of my ad so customer was interested to click

Conversions how many clicks rented my property

Under Views is Wishlist which shows how many clicks saved my listing

It should be just under Views but I use Airbnb's professional tools so your interface may be different:

You have got off to an amazing start Owen and many hosts would love to have as many new bookings as you, but it is normal for bookings to drop off so don't be alarmed by this.  We're heading for warmer weather and bank holidays so things will pick up!
