Dated are now available after I cancelled

I had to cancel a reservation as a host because of an emergency. The reservation was made for August and I cancelled in January, 7 days after booking was made. The crisis is no longer and the dates are now available. Is there anything I can do to get the calendar available on the dates I initially cancelled? Please help me some one. Thank you.

I don't think so. If you cancel the dates stay blocked. It would be hard to explain an emergency months away. But if it was an emergency and you could prove it, you should have called airbnb and ask them to cancel. That way you would not be punished.
